Suva Sangam College opened for classes on 12 May 1958 with a single class room and a roll of 18 students – 9 boys and 9 girls. The school, located at 45 Howell Road, was officially opened by the then Director of Education, Mr Lewis Jones. Today, the school consists of a three-storey building with 18 classrooms and 9 specialist rooms. In 2021, the school had a total enrolment of 541 students – 484 domestic and 30 international students.
